Design and Materials

• Door Type: This is a single, swing-style personal access (PA) door. It is metal-clad and pre-hung in its frame for easy face-fix installation.
• Frame and Panel: The door and its immediate frame appear to be made from  galvanized steel that is powder-coated in a dark grey or black finish. Steel is chosen for its high security and strength qualities, as well as its resistance to termites and rot. The door is also likely insulated with a polyurethane or mineral wool foam core for thermal and acoustic insulation.
• Integrated Wall Panel: The door unit is set within a larger, white-framed panel system designed to fit into the corners of a shipping container using integrated corner casts. The grey cladding on the surrounding wall panel appears to be a textured composite material, possibly a wood-plastic composite (WPC) or fibre cement board with a horizontal shiplap design.
• Security: The door is a security model and appears to feature a robust lever handle set and multiple locking points.
